Crash

A storm tossed ship crashing through the waves of the ocean is what came to my mind with the theme of "crash". The ship is based on drawings and models of what ancient Greek war ships were supposed to look like at the time of the Trojan war. The thing sticking off the front was actually used for ramming other ships in battle. There's a random history lesson for you.

This is a very cool painting. It's biggest weakness is the value. Overall, it's a little dark. I think if you put in a few highlights, it will really give this image some punch.

Awesome painting! I love the details on the boat. The lines on the sail seem a little out of harmony to me, though. Maybe they're just a little heavy, but they seem less realistic than the rest of it.
